ANE is honored to receive this certificate in recognition of its active participation in regional flood preparedness and response
In addition, ANE has carried out flood response activities such as ESNFI distribution and cash support for 740HHs in Awash-Fentale woreda funded by IOM/RRF, HTH for reservoir water disinfection, provision of water cleaning chlorine, hygiene and sanitation promotion for over 3000HHs in Aysaita and Garani woredas funded by IRC/RRM, and transportation services for the Regional Disaster Prevention Food Security Program Coordination Office (DPFSPCO) to transport food and non-food items for the flood affected Woreda within the Region. H.E Sean Jones, USAID Ethiopia mission director, presented the certificate on Flood Heroes Day in Afar.
